Born And Raised In Alkmaar, Netherlands, I Was Never The Stay At Home Type.

We traveled around Europe throughout my childhood and started exploring Asia and Egypt soon after. During university, where I studied to become an Industrial Design Engineer, there was no stopping.

I started riding in 2015 when I decided I wanted to do a big trip and the motorcycle sounded like the perfect vehicle.

Getting my licence is the best thing I have done in the last few years and now I do everything by bike. Zuki, a 2005 Suzuki VStrom DL650, has been my best friend ever since I bought him.

Traveling overland has changed me as a person and turned my life upside down. I learned so much about myself while traveling solo on my motorcycle I would say that a year on the road compressed the life experience of 10 years at home into one.

Meeting Jojo in Nepal was turned my life upside down. I was desperatly looking for a life partner but it was far from love at first sight.

It took more then 2 months traveling together for our first kiss to happen. When we finally did hit it off there was no stopping and we have been a team from that moment forward.

Our trip through Africa has strenghtend our relationship in ways we could not have imagined if we would have stayed at home. And the best thing about Africa is that it added a strong little adventure baby to our crew starting a new adventure all together.

Moving forward my goal is to keep adventuring as much as possible and share the knowledge we have gathered over the years with as many new explorers as possible.
